At Mountain Valley RV Resort we feel extremely lucky to live in such a beautiful valley and are committed to helping it remain beautiful.  Our resort is powered by two types of solar systems!

 

Electrical: Our 30-panel commercial photovoltaic system provides electricity to our main club house.  We have found that these solar panels are extremely efficient and we love to see our electrical meter spinning backward!  Yes, we send electricity back to the grid when our demand is met!

 

Heating: Our solar heating system uses 300 evacuated solar tubes to heat both of our restroom buildings and the domestic hot water for the bathrooms. These amazing tubes even heat our pool and spa!
